How This Company Got Started and Why San Clemente Specifically
Most window cleaning companies working South Orange County treat San Clemente the same as Mission Viejo, the same as Irvine, the same as anywhere else on their route. Same water, same schedule, same pitch. That is exactly backwards. A window three blocks from the Pier Bowl and a window in Rancho Santa Margarita are not fighting the same fight, and cleaning them the same way is how you end up with a home that looks clean for two weeks and hazy again by month two.
We started this service because we got tired of watching that happen to good houses.
The first jobs we ran were along Beach Road and in the Pier Bowl. The homeowners we worked for had already hired other companies, sometimes two or three of them, and were still looking at salt haze eighteen months later. Once we understood what was happening to the glass, tap water mineral residue stacking on top of ocean salt film, building into deposits that standard cleaning could not remove, everything else followed from there. We built the water system first. The rest of the process came after.
Why the Water Matters More Than the Technique
San Clemente tap water runs at approximately 295 PPM in dissolved minerals, 17.3 grains per gallon, making it among the hardest water in South Orange County. Run that over a window without treating it first and when it dries it leaves behind every grain of calcium and magnesium it was carrying, stacked directly on top of whatever salt film the marine layer already deposited.
We run every drop through a reverse osmosis membrane and then through a deionization resin bed before it touches a window. The result is water at 0 TDS, zero total dissolved solids. Water with nothing dissolved in it leaves nothing on the glass when it dries. No spots. No film. No mineral layer building on top of salt.
